Backup Channels are specifically used for the construction of bolted water tanks. The key function of the channel is to line up many bolts and nuts at one time to increase the productivity in the formation of the water tank.
Tengco can supply virtually any special formed or assembled part required for the storage tank industry. All our storage tank hardware is manufactured to NSF, ANSI, SAE standards and our bolted Backup Channels are designed for use in bolted steel tanks.
Typically made with roll-formed 16-gauge steel with holes pre-punched in the center; backup channels are also available in hot dipped galvanized steel.
